So as we have finally gotten over the hangover from our Ocean Village Lusso Brunch on the 27th December and the NYE party, we’re back to work cooking up a storm and creating your new favourite dishes. The sun has already shown its face in Southampton a few times and although it’s not all that warm (understatement) we’re taking what we’re given and we’re liking it. Let’s introduce you to the new dishes that will be around until January pt.2 on the 24th.
As so many of our lovely customers love the ‘fish disses’ (if you watch our TikToks you’ll get the joke) so our limited edition starter is Baked South Coast Scallops using local produce, with nduja butter and leeks (gf). A little taste sensation to start you off the right way. Paired well with the featured wine, Bride Valley Dorset Chardonnay (bottle £45, 175ml glass £11.5) with its Spring like flowery scents and Summery palate.

For the pasta lovers we have something warming, classic and always welcomed, the Chorizo & Chicken Rigatoni with San Marzano tomato sauce, mascarpone, rocket and parmesan. The Chorizo gives it a flavour kick along with the parmesan to finish it off, and if you’re getting back on the gym wagon, you’ve got all your carbs and protein in here for a not so naughty cheat meal ……
Our fish dish for the main course is another customer favourite and something that ‘flies’ out the door (sorry for the dad joke), the South Coast Skate Wing with crispy pink fir potatoes and caper & parsley butter (gf). Loads of flavour and a myriad of different textures in this one, a definite crowd pleaser. Plus as it’s also a ‘fiss diss’ it will go with the rest of the featured wine bottle you bought for the scallops, wink wink.

Meat lovers can enjoy the Grilled Pork Tomahawk with black pudding & potato hash topped with green peppercorn sauce, or if you want to stick to beef, we put it on a pizza. Try the flavoursome Slow Cooked Beef Pizza with San Marzano tomato, fior di latte, jalapeno, bbq sauce and crispy onions (gfo). Just be careful this fully loaded slice doesn’t fall to bits, so savour the flavour and make sure you keep all those toppings in place! Or if you dare… eat it with a knife and fork at your own risk …

For a sweet finish, our Raspberry Mousse is not one to be scoffed at, but rather scoffed completely. With a dark chocolate sphere and chocolate sorbetto (gf) it has all the tanginess of the raspberries and the smooth sensations of the chocolate. It really does just deserve all of your undivided attention.

So pick your favourite, perk up your January and come and visit us in restaurant before they go!
