It’s almost time for some festivity to creep in but for now, we’re sticking with the Autumn warmers for our Figurati Limited Edition menu items. Sometimes we get that menu that we know will appeal to everyone, and this is one of those. So come and join us in Ocean Village before these disappear …..
Our featured wine has a fizz to get your ready for the festive season upcoming, the Candover Brook Sparkling Rose, vivid pink, creamy and bold with aromas of fresh strawberry, cranberry and toasted brioche … what more could you want! Pair it with any of our mains or come down for a glass or two after work, lunch or your weekend plans.
A starter that needs little to no persuasion is the Slow Braised Pork Cheeks with crispy pecorino polenta, celeriac remoulade and roasted hazelnuts, one you won’t want to share at all. Succulent meat that falls apart mixed with the crispy textures of the polenta, it’s giving “Joey doesn’t share food”. Our pasta this week is a twist on the classic and homely tuna pasta that we all know and love (if you love tuna of course), the Rigatoni Al Tonno with san marzano tomatoes, tuna, chilli, confit garlic, black olives and capers. A simple yet full of flavour dish to remind you of home comforts, minus the clean up afterwards.
Something filling yet with a twist of Autumn, our Prosciutto Pizza with caramelised white onions, fior di latte, goats’ cheese, gorgonzola and rocket. Cheesy, meaty, delicious and so so moreish. But if a special fish dish is more your thing, our South Coast Skate Wing that has always been a favourite is back on the menu, with crispy pink fir potatoes and caper & parsley butter. The soft flavoursome fish with the crispy buttery potatoes will have every sense satisfied.
Chef Nicks special meat this week is the Grilled Lamb Rump with rosemary potato, fine ratatouille, roasted shallot, cavolo nero, pancetta & tomato jus, the most enticing flavour sauce you will ever try and the softest lamb you can imagine. Finally to end the star of the show is the Vanilla Panna Cotta but not just any panna cotta. With caramel popcorn and salted caramel gelato, it’s the perfect mix of crunchy, soft and cold.
